McKayla's Life - Month 5
Month 5 - October was a very busy month for the entire family. The first part of the month Uncle Bryan, Aunt Paula and us went to Bahia Honda Key to set Mi-Ma's ashes free. It was a nice day but Aunt Paula and Daddy got very worried about the others when the weren't back before dark. They finally showed up and we went home.
The following weekend, we went to Cape Coral to look at purchasing a second home, Dad says it's an investment. It was a day trip that didn't work out I guess. Then following weekend we prepared for Hurricane Wilma. If I was Fred I would beat her, but it was a hectic week. During the Hurricane, Sean and Rochelle stayed with us and helped out a lot.
After cleaning up the damage to the house, we all went to Uncle Robert's house in Melbourne because he had air conditioning. Mom ended up getting her ingrown toenails taken care and Dad bought a generator (Ocala) and chainsaw (Daytona Beach). We got a call the following Friday, the electric was back on....yeah!!! The next morning we packed up supplies and headed home for Plantation to assist Nana and Papa.
That Monday was my first Halloween night. We had to navigate through all the debris in the road to get from house to house so I could Trick-Or-Treat. Then we ended the night at the Fox's house for a little gathering. I hope next month gets better and not so busy.
